GRK-Papyri_120

GRK-Papyri_120 is an extension of the initial GRK-Papyri dataset from 50 to 120 images. The references of the images are accessible here.

This dataset was segmented into rows to form the Papy-Row dataset (accessible here) and presented during the PatReCH workshop in ICPR 2020, see here.

The same copyright conditions as for GRK-Papyri apply.

GRK-Papyri_97

GRK-Papyri_97 is a selection from GRK-Papyri_120 to 19 writers (97 images) used in a current study. The references of the images are accessible here.

23 images were removed from GRK-Papyri_120 to GRK-Papyri_97 to have a dataset which size could fit in the memory during training. These images are are:

- two images (Victor_12.jpg and Dioscorus_1.jpg) due to too small width dimensions

- all the images from the writer Hermauos (5) (writer randomly chosen)

- all the images from the writer Kyros 1 (8) (writer randomly chosen)

- all the images from the writer Kyros 3 (5) (writer randomly chosen)

- all the images from the writer Philotheos (3) (writer randomly chosen)
