D-Scribes gets in touch with the general public! From March to September, 2019, the University Library in Basel hosted an exhibition about the centerpiece of our D-Scribes research project: The Homer papyri which are held in Basel. The exhibition presented the ancient Greek writer Homer, his work Iliad, and the Iliad copies on papyrus which are held in Basel. Of course, this was an excellent opportunity to spread the word about the cutting-edge D-Scribes project!
