International Conference "Treasures from the Jar: Reconstructing the early stages of Islamic rule in Egypt thanks to the papyrus archive of Papas (Edfu)"
Held in Basel University, 2-4 November 2021, with the support of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF), the Swiss Academy of Humanities and Social Sciences (SAGW/ASSH), the Swiss Society for Ancient Studies (SVAW/ASEA), the Swiss Society for Ancient Near Eastern Studies (SGOA) and SCRIPTA Université Paris Sciences & Lettres (PSL).
Papas archive is one of the three case studies in d-scribes project, see further information here.
