Directions to the conference venue
Arriving from abroad at EuroAirport Basel, you should first take Bus 50 to the central train station Basel SBB. For directions to the bus at the airport: https://www.euroairport.com/en/passengers-visitors/access-parking/access/bus.html
The way from the EuroAirport Basel to Basel train station takes about 20 min.
Once you are at the train station, walk to the tram stop Basel SBB, which is directly outside the train station. There are multiple stops.
Option 1: Board Tram Line 8 (direction "Kleinhüningen"). Ride to "Schifflände" Stop (the 5th stop from the train station, it will be next to the river). Walk by the river to Alte Universität, it will only take about a minute.
Option 2: Take the bus number 30 (direction "Basel, Badischer Bahnhof"). Ride to "Universität" Stop (the 2nd stop from the train station). Walk through the old part of Basel to Alte Universität, it will take about 9 minutes. Bus 30 departs from the very same stop where Bus 50 from the airport stops.
Total time for any of the options is about 15 min, depending on the tram and bus schedule.
